I grew up in a small town just outside of Memphis, where barbecue wasn’t just food but part of life. Some of my earliest memories are of my father standing at the grill, the air thick with the smell of lighter fluid and charcoal. Mixed in were the earthy scents of farming still clinging to his clothes, turned soil, growing crops, and long days of honest work.

At the time, I didn’t realize how deeply those moments would shape me. What felt like ordinary days would quietly spark a lifelong passion. Watching my father cook, learning patience by the fire, and seeing how food brings people together planted something in me that never left.

Barbecue, to me, is about honoring tradition, doing things the right way, and serving food that tells a story, one plate at a time.

“Learning patience by the fire planted something in me that never left”

My cooking style blends the soul of Memphis barbecue with the bold traditions of Texas, wood fired, low and slow, and built on respect for time, smoke, and craft.

Today, that spark has grown into a calling.
